The Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has offered heartfelt condolences to Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, following the death of his wife, Mrs. Patience Umo-Eno.
In a statement released on Friday by Ismaila Misilli, the Director-General of Press Affairs for the Gombe State Government, Yahaya conveyed the sympathies of all 19 Northern Governors to the people of Akwa Ibom.
Describing Mrs. Umo-Eno as a woman of remarkable character, Yahaya acknowledged her role as a devoted mother and a vital support to both her family and the state. He expressed that her loss has created a significant void, one that will be deeply felt not only by her loved ones but also throughout Akwa Ibom.
He urged Governor Eno to draw strength from the cherished memories of his late wife and to find comfort in the divine plan of God.
In his prayer, Yahaya expressed, “May God Almighty grant the bereaved family and the entire Akwa Ibom community the strength to endure this profound loss, and may the soul of the departed rest in peace.”
