Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has announced, it has improved electricity supply to its Band A customers, achieving a cumulative minimum of 620 hours of electricity supply over the past two months.
In the official statement released on Thursday, the company’s Acting Managing Director, Francis Agoha, said this accomplishment follows a rigorous performance evaluation monitored by the regulator.
Since April, IBEDC has progressively upgraded its infrastructure, initially starting with 30 Band A feeders and subsequently receiving approval to expand by an additional 45 feeders, totaling 75 feeders.
Engr. Francis Agoha also affirmed IBEDC’s commitment to meeting customer service expectations: “We are dedicated to enhancing our network upgrades within our coverage areas to ensure reliable electricity supply. We are equally focused on improving service delivery to other tariff bands.”We extend our gratitude to customers and the Regulator for their support in achieving this significant milestone”.
