The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended popular social media personality Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky. The arrest was confirmed by the commission’s spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, who disclosed that Bobrisky was detained for allegations related to currency mutilation and Naira abuse.
Oyewale stated, “He is with us. We arrested him over currency mutilation and abuse of the Naira. He is in our facility in Lagos state.” The EFCC’s action has sparked widespread interest and raised questions about the circumstances surrounding the arrest of the controversial figure known for his online presence and lifestyle.
