In a short but heartfelt message, the artiste wrote, “Asked God for another child and he blessed me double,” sparking excitement among fans and fellow entertainers. While the couple has yet to disclose the babies’ genders, the post quickly attracted warm congratulatory messages across social media.
Speculation about the growing family began weeks earlier after Simi posted a subtle hint on Instagram in December. She shared a clip captioned, “From my baby, for my babies,” which featured her appearance with a baby bump in Adekunle Gold’s music video My Love is the Same, quietly confirming that another child was on the way.
Adekunle Gold and Simi, who tied the knot in 2019 after years of friendship and musical partnership, are widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most admired celebrity couples. Both artistes were formerly signed to X3M Music and have since built successful solo careers.
The twins join their first child, Adejare Kosoko, fondly called Deja, who was born in May 2020.
