At the Alliance Française, Mike Adenuga Centre, Lagos, something magical unfolded, a symphony of laughter, light, and shared strength. It was SheGlows 2025, Globacom’s annual celebration of the women who power the brand and inspire its culture.
This year’s theme, “Wellness for Growth,” set the tone for an evening that was less about routine talks and more about real connections, women showing up for themselves and each other.
Dr. Olubunmi Aboderin-Talabi opened the night with an inspiring reminder that wellness is a journey, not a destination. “Take your power back,” she declared. “You can’t be pitiful and powerful at the same time.” Her words hung in the air like a gentle challenge, one that every woman seemed eager to accept.

Then came Bunmi George, whose infectious energy filled the room as she spoke on resilience and the beauty of discipline. “Your muscles are your longevity organ,” she smiled, and the audience responded with laughter and applause, because it wasn’t just fitness she was talking about, but endurance, balance, and strength in every form.
Closing the sessions was Executive Coach Ifeoma Williams, poised and magnetic. Her talk, “Commanding the Room,” was a masterclass in confidence. “When a woman truly glows,” she said softly, “she grows.” And in that moment, every woman in the hall seemed to stand a little taller.
Even those who joined virtually could feel it, the pulse of shared energy, the warmth of encouragement, the glow of collective pride.
“It touched my core,” said Esther Ohiomoba from Enterprise Business. “My biggest takeaway is to let my brilliance serve, not intimidate. I’d love to do this again and again.”
More than an event, SheGlows 2025 was an affirmation, that when women are seen, heard, and celebrated, they don’t just shine; they ignite everything around them. And as Globacom’s women left that night, one thing was clear: the glow isn’t fading anytime soon.
