The Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) hosted a specialized training workshop for members of the Nigeria INGO Forum (NIF). The initiative underscores NDPC’s drive to equip international non-governmental organisations (INGOs) operating in Nigeria with the necessary skills and knowledge to uphold data security standards.
Representing NDPC’s National Commissioner and CEO, Dr. Vincent Olatunji, the Head of Research and Development, Dr. Tolulope Pius-Fadipe, addressed participants on the critical role of data protection in building trust, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and supporting Nigeria’s growing digital economy. She reaffirmed the commission’s dedication to promoting responsible data management across all sectors.
