Dr. Vincent Olatunji, National Commissioner of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), has been named the ID4Africa Deputy Ambassador for Nigeria, effective January 1, 2025. This prestigious appointment recognizes Dr. Olatunji’s pivotal role in advancing digital transformation and championing secure and inclusive identity systems across Africa.
Announcing the appointment, Dr. Joseph Atick, Executive Chairman of ID4Africa, lauded Dr. Olatunji’s outstanding contributions to identity management and innovation. As Deputy Ambassador, he will join the ID4Africa Ambassadors Bureau, a governance body driving the Movement’s mission to establish robust identity frameworks for Africa. The Bureau also serves as a critical platform for shaping policies and fostering collaboration on identification and digital inclusion.
