The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr. Khalili Suleiman Halilu, has reaffirmed the Agency’s commitment to utilizing digital media to communicate Nigeria’s industrialization drive and promote the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.
Speaking at the opening of a 3-day training workshop for NASENI’s staff writers and online media partners, themed “Enhancing Effective Delivery of Communication Objectives in a Changing Digital Environment,” Mr. Halilu emphasized the critical role of effective communication in driving innovation and technology for industrialization. The event took place on Wednesday at NASENI Headquarters in Abuja.
“This training will empower our team to amplify NASENI’s message, engage our audience effectively, and showcase our achievements,” Halilu said. He underscored the need to stay attuned to evolving digital trends, ethics, tools, and best practices, noting that the workshop was part of ongoing efforts to enhance staff capacity for greater service delivery.
Dr. Mrs. Nonyem Onyechi, NASENI’s Coordinating Director for Planning and Business Development, urged participants to maximize the skills gained to promote the Agency’s innovations, products, and research initiatives.
In his remarks, Mr. Segun Ayeoyenikan, Director of Information, New Media, and Protocol, highlighted NASENI’s transformation under Halilu’s leadership, noting its role as the Federal Government’s leading technology agency advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s socio-economic Renewed Hope agenda.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. John Bakare, CEO of Fort Realm Global Limited, who emphasized its goal to equip participants with strategic skills to craft impactful communication strategies and enhance NASENI’s outreach efforts, including its social media presence.
