The offer rewards Glo customers with 100MB of data for every transaction completed using the bank’s USSD banking code, *995#. The incentive is designed to simplify the creation of mobile wallets, linking account numbers directly to users’ phone numbers for easy recall.
Speaking on the initiative, Arhebun said, “This new 100MB offer builds on the financial education we’ve been providing across our online platforms and customer touchpoints. Our goal is to encourage Nigerians without formal banking access to create at least a mobile wallet, thereby joining the financial system.”
