Google Unveils Growth Academy AI for Cybersecurity to Empower Startups

Google has introduced its Growth Academy AI for Cybersecurity program, a new initiative aimed at helping startups that utilize artificial intelligence to strengthen cybersecurity. The program offers emerging companies the tools, knowledge, and international strategies they need to grow their businesses, with expert guidance from Google and other industry leaders.

This three-month hybrid program is designed to help startups expand their global presence and develop responsibly within the rapidly evolving cybersecurity sector.

Startups accepted into the program will gain access to a variety of benefits:

  • Equity-Free Support: Participants will receive mentorship and resources over three months without giving up any ownership in their company.
  • Tailored Mentorship: Startups will be paired with industry experts who provide personalized advice on technology, strategy, and leadership.
  • Strategic Growth Guidance: The program will support participants in refining their business strategies to succeed in the competitive cybersecurity market.
  • International Expansion: Startups will be guided on how to scale their operations globally, with mentorship from Google teams and industry experts.

Eligibility Criteria:

To participate in the Growth Academy AI for Cybersecurity program, startups must meet the following requirements:

  • Stage of Development: Only early-stage startups, from Seed to Series A, that are looking to scale internationally are eligible.
  • AI Application in Cybersecurity: Startups must be leveraging AI to address issues like cybersecurity prevention, protection, threat analysis, or research.
  • Demonstrated Progress: Applicants must show tangible progress in user growth, revenue, or funding.
  • Scalability: Startups need to have a product or service with significant market potential and a sustainable growth model.

Application Process:

Interested startups can apply by visiting the program’s official webpage and submitting an application before December 3, 2024. Selected participants will be notified in March 2025, with the program running from March to June 2025.
