Renowned biographer and media expert, Dr. Luke Okojie, is set to mark his 60th birthday with the release of four major literary works that celebrate the accomplishments of distinguished Nigerians. The launch is scheduled for October 18, 2024, with an official unveiling event to follow on December 7, 2024, in Lagos.
The new publications include Nigerian Role Models, Volume 3; 100 Distinguished Nigerian Engineers, Volume 2; 50 Pace Setters of Edo State; and 50 Distinguished Nigerians in Diaspora. These works are part of Dr. Okojie’s ongoing commitment to documenting the achievements of influential figures who have shaped Nigeria’s history and progress.
Dr. Okojie is the Managing Director and CEO of Accolade Communications Limited, a media company that has significantly impacted Nigeria’s socio-economic development. Over the years, his work has focused on wealth creation, employment generation, and fostering the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
In addition to his biographical contributions, Dr. Okojie has an extensive background in public relations, advertising, event management, and strategic communications. He holds a degree from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and has pursued postgraduate studies to further enhance his expertise.
In 2017, he was appointed as the Nigerian representative of the European-American University, where he also serves as Pro-Chancellor. His leadership roles extend to the Executive Council of the Strategic Finance and Administrative Institute, and he is a trustee of the Guild of Professional Biographers, Africa.
Dr. Okojie’s work has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious title of Most Outstanding Biographer of the Year in 2020. He is also a strong advocate for digital marketing and gender equality, earning recognition as a HeForShe champion from former Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Okojie is active in community development and philanthropy. As convener and Executive Secretary of Accolade Ambassadors, he promotes unity and collaboration across various sectors in Nigeria.
