Globacom has partnered with AXA Mansard Health Insurance to introduce an innovative micro-health insurance plan. This affordable solution leverages Globacom’s extensive mobile network, ensuring easy access to healthcare services for subscribers across Nigeria.
The new health insurance plan, accessible via SMS, USSD, and the web, connects subscribers with medical practitioners through tele-consultation. It also provides access to free drugs and treatment at thousands of pharmacies nationwide. A statement from Globacom elaborated, “Subscribers will be connected through tele-consultation with a medical practitioner and have access to free drugs and treatment at thousands of pharmacies across the country.”
The package includes flexible subscription plans: daily (N50), weekly (N300), and monthly (N750) options, offering the convenience of one-time or auto-renewal payments. Globacom emphasized that the insurance packages provide a range of benefits, including free medication up to a specified amount. Subscribers also have the opportunity to enter weekly and monthly raffles, with prizes up to N1 million. This reward system benefits subscribers whether or not they use the health insurance benefits, providing an additional pay-back benefit.
“The beauty of Glo Health Insurance lies in its accessibility – subscribers can enroll via SMS, USSD, or the Glo website, without visiting any physical office. Simply dial *3013# to select your preferred health insurance pack,” the company explained.
