A ranging fire gutted at the Christ Embassy Church Headquarters along Kudirat Abiola Way, ikeja Lagos. On sunday morning, destroying property worth several millions of naira in a fire incident that occurred at the headquarters of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s Christ Embassy Church in Lagos, Nigeria.
According to eye witnesses, the fire started around 8 am and was curtailed following the prompt invention of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority [LASEMA].
The incident has garnered widespread attention, with multiple videos from the scene shared on social media platform X [formerly Twitter].
The blaze, which erupted early in the day, prompted an immediate response from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service. Currently, the area has been cordoned off by the police to ensure law and order.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire remains unknown while no casualties have been reported.
