The annual 100-day fasting and prayer programme of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach (ZPMOM) commenced worldwide on Saturday, May 18th. The 2024 edition, themed “100 Days of Awesome Miracles and Deliverance,” will culminate in a 3-day crusade from August 23rd to August 25th.
Evangelist Chukwuebuka Anozie Obi, the Spiritual Director of ZPMOM, emphasized that the programme aims to positively transform lives and open closed doors for those who participate actively and sincerely in the fasting and prayer. He described the fasting and prayer as a powerful means of attracting divine favours, connections, blessings, and transformations through God’s supernatural magnetic force.
At the midweek Prophetic and Deliverance programme on Wednesday, Evangelist Obi further noted that fasting must be accompanied by prayer, avoidance of sin and immorality, righteousness, charity, and purity of heart to receive God’s mercy and blessings. He encouraged Zionites to emulate his lifestyle of personal sacrifice, abstinence from sex and alcohol, righteousness, and constant fasting to invoke God’s grace and mercy.
Evangelist Obi announced that the venue for the crusade would be disclosed later, as the ministry’s headquarters in Agor, Okota, Lagos, cannot accommodate the expected large number of attendees from around the world. The 2023 edition saw the main auditorium, along with the 14 plots and 40 plots, filled to capacity, with overflow crowds spilling into the surrounding streets of Onyebuchi Estate in Okota. This has necessitated the search for a larger venue for the 2024 event.
Throughout the 100 days, Evangelist Obi will also conduct divine mercy prayers at 3 p.m. and Open Heavens at 11 p.m. daily, offering prophetic declarations and instant solutions.
