Otunba Bestman Jumbo-Nze made this call on Saturday while interacting with newsmen in Lagos.
He noted that the security of lives and properties does not rest on government shoulder alone as citizens can help security agencies by relaying suspicious movement and gathering.
His words: ”We must continue to protest our heritage and resist any attempt by commercial troublemakers to disturb the peaceful atmosphere in Lagos. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has done well by providing logistics and other support to all security agencies in the state.
”Therefore, the citizen needs to play their part by reporting unholy and suspicious gathering/movement to relevant agencies without compromising personal safety.”
The Otunba Fiwagboye of Aguda used the opportunity to encourage Lagosians to participate actively in Lagos local government election slated for July 24, 2021.
