Titi Adewusi is Co-Founder, 9IJAKIDS; an EduTech company founded by three Nigerian sisters, all passionate about revolutionizing the learning experience of kids. using fun learning games and resources. Through its learning games, it is bringing digitization and learning to the African child worldwide.
Recently, 9ijakids partnered with Google to improve literacy skills of children around the world through Google’s Read Along app. 9ijakids was among the top 10 finalists at the Union Bank Edtech Challenge 2019.
In 2019, Titi was a finalist at the Africa-UK Tech Female Founders organized by the UK government. Titi was also selected as one of the Leading Ladies Africa 100 inspiring women in 2020. Titi has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and is an experienced business and management consultant, with over 18 years experience. Titi started her career working in the banking sector before she joined multinational audit and consulting firm, KPMG. There, she spent over 11 years, rising to the position of Senior Manager leading business advisory & solutions with clients across several industries. Titi then spent 6 years building a multi million-dollar hospitality, & fast-food restaurant as a member of the Executive Management team, and a key leader in the multiple success stories of the franchise.
Titi has been a volunteer teacher for over 15years and is currently the Chairperson of Bethesda Child Support Agency, an NGO that provides free education to children across poor & undeserved communities across sub Saharan Nigeria. She also sits on the board of ROWAA an NGO that empowers widows. Titi is a contributor to BusinessDay Weekender a weekly business news newspaper in Lagos where she shares on education, family and entrepreneurship.
