Dr. Chioma Nwachuku

Dr. Nwachuku is a multi-skilled professional with almost 30 years extensive experience across key sectors. She has led teams to build enviable corporate brands, develop and sustain relationships with diverse business stakeholders, and achieve leadership with corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives.
She began her career in academia as a lecturer at Lagos State University and the University of Lagos, Nigeria. Over seven years, she successfully contributed to students’ intellectual development, academic research, and publications in Communications.
Dr. Nwachuku’s career also evolved through many years in the Banking Sector. She held key positions in Corporate and Public Affairs, Communications, Product and Service Management, and Human Resource Management.
She later joined Zain Telecommunications where she worked in the company’s operation in Nigeria and in the Middle East, Kingdom of Bahrain, serving on various strategic projects for its worldwide business operations covering 24 countries
Currently, Dr. Nwachuku is responsible for developing strategies and leading teams to deliver business results for SEPLAT through Brand and Reputation management, managing Community/Partner/Regulator relationships, deploying Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability strategic goals. She has made significant impact in building and sustaining the positive global reputation of the SEPLAT Brand, resulting in superior public confidence and the creation of outstanding brand equity of the company as a respected leading Nigeria Oil and Gas Independent.
Dr. Nwachuku holds Doctoral and Master’s Degrees from the University of Ibadan and a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). She is also an alumna of Harvard Business School.
